Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, a freight train collided with an adult male at a crossing resulting in a fatality. The train number is MWCRVX 07, and the Locomotive number is UP 9075. The train was traveling north. The incident occurred on a single main track. The DOT crossing number is 752756 C. The train is stopped with no estimate of how long it will be delayed. Sacramento County will be performing clean-up.

Per the NRC Report: "The caller reported that a freight train struck a pedestrian on foot at a grade crossing, resulting in the fatality of the pedestrian. There were no derailments and no materials were released. The main track was closed because of this incident and is not yet back in service." Remedial Actions: "An investigation is underway. Local authorities are on scene."
