| g. DESCRIPTION: | Per NRC Report: Caller is reporting six car (car carriers) freight train derailment on other than the main track territory. Caller stated there was no spill, release, injuries or fatalities involved. This incident was not at a grade crossing or on a main line. Remedial actions: investigation underway. Per the reporting party, four of the derailed car carriers are upright, and two are leaning. The reporting party states that all six car carriers were carrying vehicles at the time of the incident, and there are no reports of Hazmat releases. Due to the incident, a building was damaged. A private crossing, which is the only access to six to seven businesses, is currently blocked with no way around. The incident is also blocking one entrance to a Naval Base, but the reporting party states there are other routes available.
