Orignal Description:***Historical Report***

Per Reporting Party: During heavy snow weather a snow plow caused damage to a manhole which led to blockage of a sewer line and eventually released an estimated 50,000 gallons of sewage onto soil and into a nearby storm drain. Amount is an estimate due to heavy snowfall making it difficult to calculate the actual release amount. The sewage was believed to be released around 03/04/2024. The reporting party is currently removing the blockage and it is currently stopped and contained as of 1330 on 04/08/24.
Update(s): 04/08/2024 03:52:59 PM - Per reporting party, the spill is currently active and has not been stopped or contained. Vacuum trucks are currently working to clean up the release before it reaches Donner Lake. Estimated time of cleanup is unknown.
