DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, a semi-truck involved in an accident is blocking three traffic lanes, causing the release of approximately 100 gallons of diesel onto the asphalt on the freeway. The semi has a maximum diesel capacity of 160 gallons. The contents of the semi are boxes of French fries. The lane closure is expected to last a minimum of three hours but may be extended if necessary. The trucking company is coordinating with Caltrans for the cleanup. CHP, local fire department, and Caltrans are on scene for the investigation. | ||
