Per the NRC report, the caller that states a 20 ft cuddy cabin is taking on water at the incident location. This is a potential release for the 50 gallons of diesel onboard. The vessel was left adrift after the occupants were rescued. The owner will attempt salvage in the future. The vessel is a 20-foot-long fiberglass hulled pleasure craft. The vessel number is CF4599EK. It is unknown if the water supply is contaminated. The environmental impact is unknown, and it is unknown if the release is secured.
