g. DESCRIPTION: Reporting party states there was a chemical reaction in a clean room lab inside a container under a fume hood. RP states there was a report of an odor coming from the chemical reaction and the clean room was evacuated. EMS responded and transported one employee who breathed in the fumes to the hospital. There was also a road closure during the incident. The local CUPA, 3 local fire departments, Ventura County Hazmat, Oxnard City Fire Hazmat, Ventura County Port Hueneme Hazmat (Naval Base) were all on the scene. The evacuation and road closure has been lifted. RP states the individual that was transported to the hospital has been released with no reported injuries. RP states there are no unmet needs and there is no release of any chemicals.
