g. DESCRIPTION: RP stated, A third party contractor struck a half inch (0.5") plastic service line which led to the release of natural gas. The time of release was at 1034 hours on 09/26/23, the release is currently on going, and the estimated flow rate is currently unknown. The local fire agency was notified and on scene, twenty people were evacuated, and no vapor cloud formed. Personnel from Southern California Gas are currently on site making repairs to the service line. The NRC will not be notified and OES will be contacted in regards to updates to this release.
