g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: At the Torrance Refinery, a vapor recovery machine experienced an equipment failure causing SOx to release. The refinery's flaring system engaged attempting to burn the material before it could release into the atmosphere. This incident is ongoing but the facility is operating normally with the exception of this incident. There is no vapor cloud forming above the facility.
