g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, the contractor who treats Leachate on-site at the landfill, Clean Harbors Environmental, experienced a PVC nipple failure on the Daf Polymer Injection Point due to vibration. This caused the release of the listed material. Ten gallons of the material remained within the secondary containment, and the other ten gallons went outside the secondary containment on the ground of the line landfill. No waterways were impacted. Clean-up occurred immediately and was performed by Clean Harbors Environmental.
