Orignal Description:RP states: A release of an estimated 80 gallons of the material occurred due a hydrant truck hose error. The release may have impacted a storm drain with the recent storm surge. Clean up is in progress through on site personnel.
Update(s): 03/30/2023 06:53:00 AM - The fuel pit was struck by a tug which caused the discharge of 90 gallons of jet fuel onto concrete. The contractor is onsite to determine if any storm drains were impacted. The cleanup on the ramp is complete.

A ground vehicle struck the hose that was connected to the ground hydrant, causing the release to the concrete. The release was secured and cleanup is underway.

Per NRC: Caller states approx. 80 gallons of jet "a" fuel was released from the connection at a fueling hydrant at the airport while fueling an aircraft. A ground vehicle struck the hose that was connected to the ground hydrant, causing the release to the concrete. The release was secured and cleanup is underway.
