Orignal Description:Per reporting party: An passenger AMTRAK train (A713129) struck a pedestrian on a bike. At the moment it is unknown any injuries or fatalities. There was no hazmat and no waterways impacted.

Per NRC report: Caller reported a trespasser incident involving a pedestrian and train a713129. Caller stated it is unknown if there are any injuries or fatalities. Caller reported no potential release for materials.
Remedial actions: Local authorities are on scene investigating

Pe NRC report: The caller is reporting a passenger train striking a pedestrian trespasser not at a grade crossing. The cause of the incident is unknown at this time. The caller states the trespasser was injured but not fatally wounded and were transported to the nearest hospital
by ambulance. Passenger Train Delay Handling: the passengers remained onboard and were advised of the expected delays.Train Number: 713-29. Remedial actions: Merced first responders were on scene to secure the area and transport the injured party.
