g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A semi truck pulling 2 tanker trailers transporting fuel (total amount listed above) was involved in a vehicle accident; two of the trailers containing fuel are both flipped over with one its side leaking fuel and the other upside down. The trailer that is upside down is partially in a waterway, likely has damage to the section of tank that is submerged, and leaking into the waterway. The amounts listed are the total quantity being transported, it is unknown exactly how much has released at this time. There is a sheen developing on the water about 30 yards in diameter, that is rainbow-translucent in color. No impacts to wildlife have been observed. The driver of the semi truck was injured in the collision as well as driver of another involved vehicle; both have been transported to the hospital. The roadway (Highway 37) will be shutting down in approximately 20 minutes for clean up to be conducted and removal of the semi truck and trailers; the hard closure of both directions on the highway will be for an estimated 6 to 8 hours. CHP is on scene as well as Cal Trans. Clean up arrangements are in the processes of being organized; the responsible party for trucking company has been contacted. Solano County Hazmat and Napa County Hazmat teams are both on scene. The release has not been stopped. There was no fire involved with this incident. Solano County Environmental is in route.
