Orignal Description:Per Reporting Party : there is a release of sewage from an underground main sewer line due to unknown cause. The material flowed out from a manhole, into the street and into a storm drain. It is unknown where the storm drain leads to. The release is still on going, a public works crew has arrived on scene. A vactor truck is in route to the scene as well. Public works crews will handle clean up of the street. Approximately 900 gallons entered the storm drain; reporting party is contacting storm drain maintenance division to assist in clean up of the storm drain. Reporting party will be calling back with an update.

Reporting Party called back with an update : The release was stopped at 1300. Total sewage spill amount is 4,125 gallons. Of that, 1,875 gallons entered the storm drain. Crews were able to recover a total of 2,250 gallons; some from surface and some from the storm drain.
