g. DESCRIPTION: The knuckle of a single hopper railcar failed during a scheduled movement, leading to an "uncontrolled movement" scenario. The railcar traveled a short distance, made contact with a derailment device, and derailed while remaining upright. Although the hopper car was fully loaded with plastic pellets at the time, none of the product was spilled. A UPRR Manager of Train Operations responded to the scene. The area was isolated, and an investigation is ongoing. Railyard operations have continued without disruption. A rerailment is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
