g. DESCRIPTION: A third party struck and damaged a 1-inch plastic natural gas service line during excavation, resulting in a natural gas release into the atmosphere. The local fire department and Southwest Gas responded to the scene. The gas was shut off, stopping the release. Technicians isolated the line and are currently conducting permanent repairs. No fires or injuries occurred, and no evacuations were necessary.
