DESCRIPTION: The reporting party states that an AMTRAK passenger train (Lead Locomotive: AMTK337, ID: AMT1131) collided with a boulder, puncturing the traction motor and releasing 1.75 gallons of traction oil onto the ground. The release has been stopped and contained. No waterways were impacted. There were no derailments and no injuries reported. The reporting party will look into the cleanup at a later time.
