g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, marine patrol staff noticed a diesel smell and observed a rainbow sheen across the lake at the main launch ramp. They responded by placing absorbent materials to address the spill. The source of the sheen is unknown, as no one was on site when it was noticed. Canyon Lake drains into Lake Elsinore, which is a source of drinking water. The reporting party oversaw the cleanup process, which is currently underway. | ||
