Orignal Description:*Potential Release**Potential Release* Per reporting party: A potential release of possibly one barrel occurred within the Kinder Morgan Imperial facility (tank farm). During pressure testing of all lines, an underground pipeline running from manifold to a tank failed. The line has been isolated and the Reporting Party is investigating and will provide an update when they get more info. Update(s): 08/01/2024 09:36:52 AM - /// THIS IS POTENTIAL RELEASE FOR A 48HR PHMSA UPDATE TO NRC REPORT # 1406360 /// UPDATED INFO IS AS FOLLOWS: COMPANY IS STILL SEARCHING FOR THE LEAK. INITIAL REPORT: CALLER IS REPORTING THAT WHILE CONDUCTING A TEST ON THEIR UNDERGROUND FACILITY FILL PIPING THEY HAD A FAILURE. THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO DISCHARGE GASOLINE UNDERGROUND. NO DISCHARGE HAS BEEN DISCOVERED AT THIS TIME BUT IT COULD POTENTIALLY BE UP TO 1 BARREL. THE CAUSE IS UNKNOWN AND UNDER INVESTIGATION. ; 08/02/2024 10:30:53 AM - Per reporting party, leak has been found and they are working on repairs at this time. Release is stopped and contained.
