DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party, reporting party arrived at Discovery Park at 2000 hours along the riverbank to fish and noticed a smell accompanied by a greyish, silver sheen floating along the riverbank at the confluence of the Sacramento River and American River. The sheen appeared in sections approximately 2 feet x 2 feet. The reporting party stayed for about 30 minutes, during which the flow of oil did not cease. Reporting party is concerned for the wildlife in the area that could potentially be affected by the contamination.
