g. DESCRIPTION: A single tank trailer caught fire while traveling northbound on Interstate 405. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and the local fire department responded to the scene. They isolated the incident site and rerouted vehicle traffic. Firefighters extinguished the fire without any further issues. During the fire, the damaged trailer leaked an unspecified amount of diesel fuel onto the roadway and its adjacent dirt shoulder. It's uncertain how much of this fuel entered a nearby storm drain, and the destination of the drain remains unknown. No injuries were reported from the incident. Currently, the highway remains closed, and Caltrans is en route to assist with cleanup efforts and the recovery of the vehicle involved.
