g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: Amtrak passenger train 14 of the 29th was travelling north when a trespasser on the track was struck. The trespasser was taken to the local hospital for treatment.The lead locomotive number is 43 and the trail locomotive was 25. There was no Hazmat released and no derailment. The passenger line was temporarily shut down while an investigation was conducted and has been reopened at the time of report.

Per the NRC report: Caller stated an Amtrak train (14 of the 29th) struck a trespasser on the tracks. This resulted in one injury and the trespasser was taken to the hospital. Device Operational: YES. Brake Failure: NO. Passenger Train Delay Handling: Train involved was delayed 1 hr and 35 minutes. Passengers remained onboard the train. Locomotives: 2 Cars: 7
