Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, on 07/30/2024 at approximately 0921 in the morning, Southern California Edison personnel discovered that an overhead pole mounted transformer was stolen which caused the spill. The spill impacted asphalt and soil beneath the transformer. Clean Harbors will be performing the clean-up, and they are en route. No waterways were impacted. | ||||||

Per reporting party, the updated amount of mineral oil non PCB released is 25 gallons. The release came from three pole-mounted transformers, not just one as initially thought. The oil was released onto the soil only. There were no road closures. | |
