Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, on 11/10/2024 at approximately 0116 in the morning, there was a two vehicle automobile accident on US 101 which caused a spill of diesel fuel. A tractor-trailer rig overturned onto its side, and the fuel spilled from its saddle tanks. The fuel impacted the concrete roadway, and it impacted the bridge's drainage system and flowed into the Santa Maria River below which is dry currently. There was one injured party, and the injured individual was transported to Marion Medical Hospital. The Santa Maria Fire Department and Police Department were on scene.
