Orignal Description:Per reporting party, due to mechanical failure a pole mounted transformer released approximately 300 gallons of non PCB oil impacting asphalt. The release has been stopped and contained with no waterways impacted. Reporting party has began clean up procedures.

Per NRC Report: The caller reports that one of their power transformers was hit by a fork-lift. As a result, 300 gallons of mineral oil was released onto the asphalt. Booms applied, absorbents applied, vac truck used, isolated area,
clean up underway release is secured.
