Orignal Description:*POTENTIAL RELEASE* Per reporting party, for unknown reasons the (PRD) pressure release device could have potentially released an unknown amount of HS2 outdoors. The release started at about 1300 hours and stopped around 1452 hours. The cause is still under investigation. No injuries or waterways have been impacted.

SITUATION UPDATE:
Per NRC report: The caller stated that a refinery had a pressure release device (prd)release an unknown amount of hydrogen sulfide into the atmosphere. Although the amount of material that released is unknown the caller suspects it is over the reportable quantity REMEDIAL ACTIONS: the caller stated that the prd was blocked in securing the release
