| Orignal Description:While in transit, the trailer of a delivery truck encountered a load shift, resulting in damage to a container carrying the listed substance. This caused the container's contents to spill onto the trailer floor and onto the customer's parking lot. Additionally, an unknown quantity of the substance entered a nearby storm drain, with its ultimate destination unknown. On-site personnel isolated the affected area and contacted an environmental specialist to oversee the cleanup process. | | | ||||

| Per NRC #1404995, "The caller stated that a tractor trailer at a Home Depot shifted and released (10) gallons of blue ink onto the trailer, parking lot, and a nearby storm drain. The amount of material that released into the storm drain is unknown, however the caller suspects around (2) gallons may have impacted the drain. The material released from a (55) gallons drum within the tractor trailer truck." REMEDIAL ACTIONS: The caller stated that a contractor will be on site in 20 minutes. | |
