DESCRIPTION: Per Reporting Party: A waste water treatment plant lost power and caused the release of an estimated 1.8 million gallons of sewage out of a manhole and has entered a nearby storm drain catch basin. The facility lost power around 1630 hours, the released sewage occurred around 1730 hours. At approximately 2300 hours power returned to the facility. The sewage has been stopped and contained in the catch basin. The reporting party is conducting clean up. No remedial actions were taken. There are no known impacts from the released sewage.
