g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the Reporting Party : A blockage in a city main sewer line caused by root intrusion caused the release of material. The released material went onto the street and flowed about 120 feet into a storm drain. The storm drain leads to Sunset Beach (Pacific Ocean) after approximately 2,100 feet. It is unknown if any of the material made it to the Pacific Ocean. The release has been stopped. None of the released material was recovered. Repairs have been completed on the city main sewer line and it is flowing back at capacity. There were no roadway closures. | ||
