g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the Reporting Party : A customer was fueling their vehicle and an overflow occurred due to inattention. It is not known why the gas nozzle did not shut off. The material impacted the concrete around the fuel pump, went into a flower bed and some onto the street. No waterways or storm drains were impacted. The store employees shut off the gas pump and fire department responded. The fire department absorbed as much as possible with kitty litter, additional gasoline was picked up with absorbents and placed into blue drums. A contractor is also in route to complete clean up and disposal. | ||
