g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party, at 1814 this evening a contractor damaged a 1/2 inch plastic gas line while performing excavation work. The release was stopped at 1905 this evening. The release only impacted the atmosphere. There was no vapor visible. There was no fire or explosion. Southwest Gas personnel are currently on scene to conduct clean-up and repairs. The Apple Valley Fire Department was on scene. There were no injuries or evacuations.
