g. DESCRIPTION: A contractor struck and damaged a 1/2 inch metal natural gas service line, causing a release of natural gas into the atmosphere. A gas crew was dispatched to the single-family home. Upon arrival, the line was isolated, and the release was stopped. No fires occurred, and evacuations of personnel were not necessary. Permanent repairs were carried out without any further incident.
