g. DESCRIPTION: Due to a mechanical failure during a test flight, a helicopter crashed into the front yard of a residence causing approximately 70 gallons of Jet A Fuel to release onto the soil of the front yard where it is contained. A rotor clipped a palm tree and caused slight damage to the roof but did not cause significant damage to the residence. The two occupants of helicopter were both transported to a local area hospital with injuries. The severity of the injuries is unknown. The local police and fire department responded and have closed Garrett Ave. No waterways impacted.
