g. DESCRIPTION: Department personnel observed an interruption in the pump cycle of the city's sewage system and were dispatched to investigate. Technicians identified a blocked sewer main as the source of an estimated 20,000-gallon sewage release into an open field. A crew cleared the blockage, restoring flow to the line. The current plan is to assess potential damage to the line and clean up the affected surface areas. Since the location is remote, no public property damage occurred.
