g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : Grease build up in a gravity main caused a blockage and resulted in the release of material through 2 vents in a manhole (manhole #FA39). The material impacted a paved surface area and then flowed into a dry drainage channel and ponded in a seasonal dry creek area. The reporting party was notified of the release at 1321 today; the release was stopped at 1437 todays date. Employees on scene were able to prevent the release from entering any waterways or blue lines and are in the process of utilizing a vac truck to recover material and will conduct final clean up. There were no injuries or damage to property associated with this release.
