Orignal Description:Per reporting party, a tractor struck a pole-mounted transformer, causing it to fall and land in an agricultural field. This resulted in the release of approximately 10-15 gallons of mineral oil with unknown PCB content onto the soil and standing water. No waterways were impacted by this release. A contractor is en route to determine the PCB content. The reporting party will provide more information when available.

SITUATION UPDATE:
Per the NRC report: "The caller states a tractor backed into a pole, knocking the pole-mounted transformer into the agricultural field. The incident caused 10-15 of (Unkonwn-PCB) of transformer oil onto the ground, and some standing water." Remedial Actions: "Contractors are enroute."
