Orignal Description:Per the reporting party: A Union Pacific Railroad Train (LGWLTJ6) derailed one (1) empty Intermodal car due to an unknown cause. This derailment is under investigation. No Hazmat reported, no waterways impacted.

Update(s): 06/16/2024 04:25:20 PM - Per the NRC report: The caller reported that a freight train suffered a (1) car derailment (upright) for unknown reasons. No material was released. This was not a grade crossing incident. No injuries were reported. There are no expected passenger train delays.


Remedial actions: The caller reported that California Emergency Services and public utilities commission have been notified. No other actions have been taken as of yet.
