g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, at 0839 this morning, the California Highway Patrol was notified of a vehicle accident on Interstate 5. A tractor-trailer jackknifed and hit the center divide wall travelling south over the Antlers Bridge. This caused the release of an unknown amount diesel fuel from the saddle tanks of the rig. The fuel flowed into a metal drain that leads to Shasta Lake. California Tow is en route with absorbents to perform clean-up. There was one minor injury, and the injured person was transported to Mercy Hospital in Redding. | ||
