Orignal Description:Per reporting party, mechanical failure to a pole mounted transformer caused a release of 53 gallons of oil onto the roadway with impacts into a storm. Release has been stopped and contained. Contractors conducted clean up and recovery from the impacted storm drain.

Per NRC: Caller is reporting that a utility pole broke and caused a transformer to come down and break open. This caused a discharge of non pcb mineral oil onto the ground and into a storm drain. ---WATER INFORMATION--- Body of Water: STORM DRAIN, Water Supply Contaminated: UNKNOWN --REMEDIAL ACTIONS-- CLEAN UP CREW ON-SITE, CLEANUP COMPLETED, Release Secured: YES
