g. DESCRIPTION: Santa Monica Utility Service responded to an active sewage overflow at the apartment complex listed. Upon arrival, technicians determined the source of the issue to be a private sewer lateral. Around 100 gallons of sewage were released onto the property, affecting a nearby storm drain. A private contractor was called in to make repairs. The blockage was cleared, and flow was restored without further incident. City technicians cleaned the affected surface areas, and the sewage that entered the storm drain was fully recovered. No evacuations were needed, and no damage to private property was reported.
