g. DESCRIPTION: Per reporting party: Earlier today officer doing rounds discovered a rainbow oil sheen all around the ship. They believe its lube oil but they are testing the sample's to confirm. Absorbents have been placed.

Per NRC report: Caller stated on oil sheen was spotted in the water from an unknown source. The sheen was rainbow in color and is believed to be lube Oil. This was discovered in the San Diego Bay. The sheen runs up and down the side of the USS Montgomery.
