Orignal Description:Reporting party states passenger freight train (Y2624J of the 19th BNSF 6335) was rear ended from freight train (IDILB of the 17th UP2669) due to the train possibly running through a signal light. No injuries or fatalities are reported. There was no derailment of either train and no HazMat releases. The passenger main line is closed for investigation.
Update(s): 02/19/2024 11:09:35 PM - Per Reporting Party: The rear railcar (Symbol ID: BNSF 270069) of Locomotive ID: Y2624J of the 19th BNSF 6335 derailed of upright and leaning. No hazardous materials were on board the railcar nor no release of hazardous materials. The main line is still closed for investigation.
