g. DESCRIPTION: Per the reporting party: Due to a vehicle accident, a vehicle ended up in the Kern Delta Canal which is a tributary to the Kern River. The Kern River runs through the city of Bakersfield and leads to an irrigation line. Material release is confirmed due to an odor of gasoline and a sheen on the water. No vegetation or crops were affected due to this release. The vehicle is in the process of being removed from the canal.
