g. DESCRIPTION: | Per the reporting party, due to a third-party excavation struck a 1.5-inch plastic service pipe, resulting in the release of an unknown amount of natural gas into the atmosphere. At the time of this report, the pipe is still releasing gas at an undetermined rate. The local fire department is on-site, and Southern California Gas crews are en route. An evacuation was implemented at 1215 hours and remains in effect. No waterways have been impacted by this release, and the natural gas release is unrecoverable. | ||
