g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party: The Reporting Parties Agency was providing assistance to another jurisdiction (City of Gonzalez) by taken in additional sewage treatment flow from them. Due to a miscommunication between the agencies a man hole was opened up that should not have been causing the material to flow onto the street and then into the storm drain system and into the Salinas River. The release has been stopped. City crews are on scene with a vac truck working on clean up. No affects to wildlife were observed; there is a homeless encampment also located nearby.
