g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, During the abandonment of a pipe, an issue arose with a plug at the end, resulting in the release of approximately 3,000 to 7,000 gallons of cement water. The release has been stopped, but it affected an unknown outlet area, flowing 80 feet beyond the outlet into a dry channel. Since the channel is dry, there is no drainage for the release. Cleanup efforts are currently being carried out by a contractor under the supervision of Caltrans. A spill communication plan is also being implemented at this time. | ||
