g. DESCRIPTION: Per the Reporting Party : A passenger train struck a pedestrian that was trespassing on the railroad tracks resulting in the person being fatally injured. Train # AMT748-15. Locomotive # CDTX8312. Hayward Police and Fire Department responded to the scene. Amtrak Police is also in route to the scene. The incident occurred on a single main line. Train traffic is shut down on all directions for the investigation. It is unknown when the train traffic will resume. The passengers and crew are remaining on board the train.
