Orignal Description:Per the reporting party, for reasons currently unknown, a three-inch flow line released less than one barrel of produced water and oil onto soil and into a blue line (ephemeral creek bed). The release has been stopped and contained. The responsible party, California Resources Production Corporation, will manage the cleanup. The release occurred at Well Number 8408-26S.

Per the NRC report, CALLER STATES THAT A FLOW LINE LEAKED DUE TO MECHANICAL INTEGRITY, DISCHARGING AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT (LESS THAN 1 BARREL) OF AN OILY WATER MIXTURE INTO MARTINEZ CREEK.
