Orignal Description:Per reporting party, due to unknown reasons, there was a release of 175 gallons of firefighting foam, affecting concrete and asphalt, with some foam partially impacting the soil. There was no impact on waterways. Cleanup will be carried out by SCE personnel, with additional support from American Integrated Services (AIS).
Update(s): 08/21/2024 04:09:15 PM - Per NRC: Caller reported that a tank released 175 gallons of fire fighting foam for unknown reasons inside the utility facility onto concrete, no material released outside the facility. Less than .1% of the material is diethylene glycol monobutyl ether.
