g. DESCRIPTION: per reporting party, A mechanical issue led to a malfunction of a release valve, resulting in the discharge of an unknown quantity of natural gas from a 3-inch pipe. The release started at 1900 hours and was stopped at 2300 hours. Fortunately, there were no injuries or evacuations reported. The released gas is considered unrecoverable as it dispersed into the atmosphere, with no impact on waterways.
