| g. DESCRIPTION: | Per reporting party, the reporting party was notified of a water taxi had a release of an unknown amount of an unspecified product into the Long Beach Harbor. This release created a sheen 8 ft by 8 ft that dissipates naturally. Every time the vessel turns on it releases more oil into the water. The water taxi company plans to take the vessel into a harbor and remove it from the water. Per NRC: caller is reporting there is a water taxi vessel that had a discharge of an unknown fuel into the water. Caller states this occurs everytime they start the engine. It is unknown what is causing the discharge. They received this report from another vessel that noticed the discharge.
